Lignique brings scene creation, visual references, and image editing into one workspace for comics, storyboards, and visual storytelling.
Your prompts, reference images, and creation requests are processed by Lignique's hosted service. Daily operational and safety limits apply. Account cloud status shows whether new History and Vault images have synchronized.

Quick start
Write a Scene description : who is present, what happens, and how the panel should look.
Use the optional Negative prompt for things to avoid. It guides the result, but cannot guarantee exclusions.
Open Gen Settings above Preview to choose shape, quality, background, and output format.
Add references or a Style Gallery preset when continuity matters, then choose Generate or press Ctrl+Enter .
Review the result in Preview. Successful generations enter Recent Outputs automatically; Save downloads a file.
Generation Settings
Square, Landscape, Portrait choose the image shape. Exact pixel dimensions depend on the shape and quality tier.Draft · Low , Standard · Medium , and Final · High show the rendering level. Standard Square and all Final sizes are experimental and may take longer.Use existing behaviour keeps the creation service's normal background behavior. Transparent requests the intended foreground subject, character, or object isolated on a transparent canvas, without a painted or solid-color backdrop.PNG and WebP support transparency. JPEG does not: selecting Transparent switches JPEG to PNG and makes JPEG unavailable until you change the background setting.Background settings do not remove a background from an image already in Preview. Edit keeps the source dimensions and recorded quality. An image without recorded quality uses Medium for new edits; its origin remains unknown.
Find your work
Create holds your scene, negative prompt, and Style and Character Lock controls.Preview shows the current image. Review it, open Edit Mode, copy metadata, or save a file.Recent Outputs caches up to 40 images in this browser. Successful generations are added automatically. Select an image to reopen its saved original; older entries may contain only a reduced image.
Library Vault caches up to 50 saved references. Open it from Character Locks to reuse a reference, or from Edit References to guide an edit. Ordinary references may be reduced for storage.
The account menu shows your signed-in account, Sync account images, and Sign out.
Character and Style Locks
Character Locks help with recurring people: name each character, add a clear reference, and review the description and things to avoid.Off disables a lock. Soft gives lighter guidance, Hard stronger guidance, and Photocopy uses the reference for the closest available visual carry-over. Always review the result; consistency is not guaranteed.Style Lock uses a single style reference or a complete collage of 5–10 related images. Analyze helps create a style description. Keep the scene prompt focused on the action.Save a character reference to Library Vault for reuse. Active reference limits apply; the app shows when a lock needs attention.
Style Gallery
Choose a preset from the top bar to guide the visual style while keeping your scene description.
Choosing a preset turns Style Lock Off. Activating Style Lock resets the gallery to None. Saved Style Lock references stay available, and Character Locks can work alongside either choice.
Use Clear selection in the gallery to return to None.
Gen Turnaround
Open a saved character in Library Vault and choose Gen Turnaround for front, side, and back views.
This makes three separate generations, each subject to account usage limits. Turnaround uses its own rendering settings rather than the main quality tier.
The finished reference sheet has a white background, is saved as PNG in Vault, and appears in Preview. It does not automatically add a main Generate history entry.
Save files and keep records
Save downloads the current Preview in the selected PNG, JPEG, or WebP format. You can change the format after generation without regenerating. Saving a file does not add another history item.
Save keeps the image's full dimensions. JPEG uses a white background for transparent pixels. Where supported, a save dialog lets you choose the location; otherwise your browser handles the download.
Right-click an image outside Edit Mode for Download original , which preserves its original bytes, or Download PNG . Save to recent outputs remains available for other results or retrying a failed history save.
Copy Meta copies image metadata as a separate text record. Downloaded files do not necessarily contain that metadata.Report Output prepares a local report for review, download, or copying. It does not send a report to support.
Edit Mode: describe, apply, review
Open Edit Mode from a generated or loaded Preview. Smart Edit starts with your description; a selection and references are optional.
Paint area marks where to edit. Erase removes selection, not image pixels. Magic Select works best with clear shapes or separated colors; refine it with Paint and Erase.Pan moves the view. Use zoom and Fit to work closely, then check the whole panel.Describe a clear change, optionally add things to avoid or an Edit type , then choose Apply AI Edit .
Review with Before / After ; Shift+click opens split comparison. Use Keep result , Try again , or Revert before continuing.
Save & exit keeps the edited image and returns to Preview; Discard & exit leaves without keeping session changes. Use Preview's Save when you want a file.Import Image replaces the edit source after the save/discard check. Right-click image menus are unavailable in Edit Mode.
References and precise selections
Open Edit References for one primary image and up to two supporting images. Choose a role for every active reference and use Use this reference to include it.
Character and Character group guide people; Background guides the location; Prop / object guides a recurring object; Style only guides visual treatment.Background references guide scene continuity; they are separate from Generate's Transparent setting.
For removal, select the full subject with a small border. Refine edge , Invert Mask , and Clear Mask adjust the target. A mask guides the edit; inspect for unintended changes.
Remember references restores them in this browser profile for this account. It does not synchronize them to another device.
Export and finish
Export PSD creates a Background layer and a segmented Character Cutout. The cutout may need refinement; this does not recreate every drawing layer.Enlarge 4× resizes Preview using browser smoothing, with a maximum longest side of 16,384 pixels. It adds no new AI detail and saves the enlarged result to Recent Outputs.
High-Res Export in Edit Mode downloads a larger PNG or JPEG using its own size and format settings. It resizes without adding AI detail or changing Preview.
Account and Workspace Sync
Work is scoped to the signed-in account. Use the account menu to check your session, retry synchronization, open Support & policies, or sign out.
New History and Vault saves are queued for your account when cloud saving is enabled. After synchronization, they can be retrieved in another browser for the same account.
Check cloud status for pending changes, errors, or conflicts. Keep this browser's data until pending saves complete. Existing browser-only images are not automatically uploaded.
Locks, settings, the active Preview, and remembered Edit references are not a complete cloud workspace backup. Signing out does not delete stored workspace data.
Privacy and workspace data
History and Vault use a browser cache; new saves may also be queued for your account. Check cloud status to confirm synchronization. Other workspace settings and remembered Edit references remain local.
Creation requests are processed by the hosted service. Cloud saving is separate from Generate and Edit: an image can succeed while its history or account save still needs attention.

Clearing cached lock data removes local Style and Character Locks, the Style Gallery choice, remembered Edit references, and the local Vault cache. Account images and pending cloud changes are kept.
Reset clears local workspace caches and settings while preserving pending cloud changes and their originals. It does not delete account images or change account access or usage records.
Clearing all site data or removing this browser profile can permanently lose local-only work and pending uploads. Clearing HTTP cache is different. Signing out does not clear your workspace.
The privacy summary describes browser data, not a complete account-data export. Support bundles include prompt text, metadata, diagnostics, and logs: review them before sharing.
Report an output
Use Report Output for an unsafe, inappropriate, misleading, or otherwise problematic result. Choose a category and describe what needs review.
Download or copy the local report and review it before sharing. Optional details include prompts and output metadata; image files are not attached, and nothing is sent automatically. Share only the information needed.

Connection and help
Connection & diagnostics in Create shows the latest issue and session log, with Run service check to recheck reachability. Connected means the service is reachable; a creation or cloud-save request can still fail.
Generate and Edit can take several minutes. Use Cancel Apply to cancel an edit. If the result is uncertain, follow Check Edit Status rather than starting the same edit again.
If history saving fails after Generate, the image stays in Preview for Save or Edit. Retry the history save separately; check cloud status for account-saving issues.

Keyboard shortcuts
Ctrl+Enter starts Generate. Enter inserts a new line in the Edit prompt; Ctrl+Enter applies the edit once. Repeated Apply does not cancel a request.Escape cancels a running edit; otherwise it clears comparison or selection before leaving Edit Mode, with a save/discard check for unsaved work.In Edit Mode, away from text fields: B Paint, E Erase, M Magic Select, P Pan, or hold Space to pan temporarily. H shows the shortcut panel.
R Rectangle, L Lasso, and G Guide remain available by keyboard. Alt subtracts a rectangle, lasso, or magic selection.[ / ] adjusts brush size. Scroll changes brush size or Magic Select tolerance; Ctrl+scroll zooms. Left/right arrows move the split comparison divider.Ctrl+Z undoes selection first, then an edit step. Ctrl+Shift+Z or Ctrl+Y redoes. Text fields keep their normal typing behavior.F1 opens this guide.Save downloads a file; successful Generate results enter Recent Outputs automatically.
